Shipping Rates & Policies

All standard freight shipping is a curbside delivery service with liftgate and delivery appointment. With curbside delivery, pedicure spa chairs and other large pieces of salon equipment will arrive unassembled in their original factory packaging unless otherwise mentioned. The trucking company will schedule a window for delivery with you and will deliver the items to your driveway or entryway, and you will be responsible for moving the shipment into your residence or business. Freight shipments are heavy, at least 100 pounds, and you may require assistance and want to plan accordingly. Inside and white glove delivery can be purchased for an additional fee.

Please provide a valid street address with each order (we are unable to ship to P.O. boxes). Additional charges apply to rush shipments. Shipping costs are listed beside each product. If there is no price, you may call to get a quote (this is especially prevalent for the higher weight items).

 

Order Fulfillment Timeline

All orders are processed between 9:30 am and 6:00 pm CST, Monday through Friday. Your order will then try to be shipped out within 72 hours of processing, please see your order confirmation for more specific information.

 

How to Accept your Shipment

Ground packages are shipped via USPS, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground. No appointment will be required for ground deliveries, and a signature will not be required. Once you have received your shipment, you are advised to inspect the packaging and the item itself for any signs of damage. We advise taking photos of the box from multiple angles before opening the packaging, making sure to capture any damage to the packaging before opening. Once you have opened it, please inspect the package for any damages that may have occurred in the shipping and immediately provide them to Salon Equipment World's Service Team. All damages or missing components must be reported within 72 hours from the receipt of the package; otherwise, any possible service requests may be denied. 

Freight trucking companies will schedule a window for delivery with you, usually about four hours, and will deliver the items to your driveway or entryway, and you will be responsible for moving the shipment into your residence or business. If you are not there when the trucking company attempts freight delivery, you will be responsible for the redelivery fee, which varies from carrier to carrier. If you need to change the delivery address after we have already shipped, then you will be responsible for a reconsignment fee, which varies from carrier to carrier. Once you receive your shipment, completely review the shipment and note any damages on the POD, or proof of delivery, receipt and notify us within 72 hours.

Receiving Tip: If the shipment looks suspicious such as shrink wraps are not intact, straps are missing, and dents/holes on the boxes, please write "possible concealed damage" on the delivery receipt before handing it back to the truck driver.

  • When you sign the Delivery Receipt without noting any damages, then you are saying that the shipment arrived in good condition and with no missing pieces.
  • If there is any shipping discrepancy, such as visible or concealed damage, missing boxes, or pallets, etc., please contact and report them within 72 hours, otherwise, any possible service requests will be denied.
  • If there is an issue with your shipment, please keep the shipping cartons and materials until the problem has been resolved or the claim has been acknowledged and settled. Pictures of the damaged product in question must be provided to the Service Team to help determine the best possible course of action.
  • If products are delivered to you and the shipment is refused for reasons other than shipping damage, then you will be subject to all applicable freight charges.
  • If proper freight receiving protocol is followed, Salon Equipment World will attempt to rectify the situation to the best of our ability. However, if proper shipping protocol is not followed, then Salon Equipment World will be unable to guarantee any resolution for the damaged shipment.
